Cal 48 Tiare

The text below is included to interest search engines. Not really helpul for human consumption!

The Cal 48 Tiare is a very well maintained Cal 48 built by Jensen Marine in Caliornia. The boat has had only three owners over its long and sucessful career as a classic acing machine and well-loved amily criuser. This boat is a Cal 48 for sale in New Orleans. The freshly painted hull is a standout in any regatta. She looks fast even when resting at the dock!

The Cal 48 Tiare has sailed in Lake Pontchartrain as well as throughout the Guf of Mexico including races to Cozumel Mexico. This beautiful Cal 48 has a full complement of racing sails as well as cruising sales. The headsail had roller furling. The cabin has two air condition units. The Cal 48 has a Volvo diesel engine as well as a Westerbeke 5KW diesel generator.

The cal 48 for sale has plenty of electronic instrumentation including multiple graphic GPS displays, radios, wind indicators, speed indicators, electronc and magnetic compasses. Some instruments are duplicaed at the base of the mast. Two folding chairs can be enjoyed on the rear deck. A bimini shades the entire long cockpit.

Tiare is a beautiful and well maintained sailboat with an historic past and promising future. This Cal 48 will appeal to a sailor wanting a classc design and solid fiberglass hull. The extra tall mast provides more power in light winds.

This Cal 48 is not a Cal 46. It is a Cal 48, one of the very few produced in the 1960's. It is a very fast and reliable racing boat that
blends classic design with modern features as well as comfort equipment such as air conditioners and a diesel generator.
